Job Summary
Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients while promoting optimal health and safety. Recover all cases in both Phase I and Phase II, managing approximately 30+ cases daily across 36 prep-op beds and 12 PACU bays. Cover both pre-op and PACU areas with 3-4 staff per shift, floating between units as needed to handle pre-op calls, PATs, and transports. Work a variable 36-hour week with one night and a full weekend call every six weeks, including a 30-minute radius callback requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- RN License
- Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- One year experience
- Previous PACU experience
- Previous PACU/ICU/ED experience
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
- Call required- 1 night per week and one full weekend (Sat and Sun) per six week schedule
- 30Min Call Back-Radius required
