Registered Nurse, Pre-Op/PACU- Mercy South Surgery Center

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients while maintaining professional accountability. Coordinate care in conjunction with other departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, working with prolonged standing and walking each shift. Requires ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat. Obtain and maintain current RN licensure within the hiring state or compact licensure. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. No weekends, holidays, or call.
