Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Pre Assessment (Bank) at The Park Hospital, Nottingham. Bank shifts on an as-and-when-required basis in the Pre Assessment department. Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans; assess patient needs, prioritise care, monitor vital signs, escalate changes with clinical judgement; administer medications per hospital policies; maintain accurate nursing documentation; ensure compliance with NMC standards and governance requirements; identify and report incidents or safeguarding concerns as per procedures. Requires valid NMC registration and demonstrable clinical healthcare experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; proficient IT skills for patient records and care planning.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
- Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting
- Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning
