Registered Nurse - Pre Admission Testing - Days

Pre-admission testing RN conducts telephone interviews to obtain and share procedural information and directions, provides patient education related to upcoming surgery, informs patients of the pre-anesthetic evaluation process, collaborates with the anesthesia provider team, ensures required pre-surgical testing is completed prior to the surgical appointment, integrates research findings into nursing practice, maintains knowledge of nursing procedures across service lines, supports hospital quality goals, and delivers safe, effective care on a part-time 20-hour/week schedule (Mon-Fri 8:30a-5p, no calls or weekends) using EPIC; guides assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care; participates in patient education and coordination of care before surgery.
