Registered Nurse Practice Specialist Emergency Department

Job Summary
Lead the use of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and ensure care is safe, consistent, and grounded in clinical standards. Partner with clinical leaders to identify quality and safety gaps, analyze patient safety data to uncover trends, and implement solutions that strengthen team performance. Coach and mentor caregivers through hands-on rounding, guide the development of practice guidelines, and drive meaningful improvements in nursing practice at the unit or division level. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and 2 years of applicable experience (5 years preferred). Full-time days schedule with a sign-on bonus up to $12,000.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
- 2 years applicable experience
