Job Summary
Lead evidence-based practice initiatives to improve patient outcomes by ensuring care aligns with safety standards and clinical guidelines. Partner with clinical leaders to identify quality gaps, analyze safety data for trends, and implement solutions that strengthen team performance. Coach caregivers through hands-on rounding to build clinical confidence and guide the development of improvement initiatives at the unit or division level. Requires BLS certification, Tennessee RN licensure, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and 2 years of applicable experience. Full-time day shift at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Emergency Department.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
- 2 years applicable experience
