Job Summary
Provide direct skilled nursing care to medically fragile children in the Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care center per physician orders and individualized treatment plans. Administer medications, monitor patient response, and ensure compliance with Florida PPEC safety and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, educate families on care techniques, and support emergency response and infection control procedures. Participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments. Maintain credentials and complete mandatory training while adhering to patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to perform clinical interventions and document care accurately
- Background screening and TB clearance
