Job Summary
Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, monitoring and recording patient conditions as appropriate. This postpartum role requires BLS, RN licensure, and specific certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation and the S.T.A.B.L.E Program. Schedule is nights and PRN at Saint Thomas Midtown within Ascension's Mother/Baby department.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Postpartum Experience
