Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in the Post Surgical Unit as an RN. Assesses and evaluates patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, social and educational needs and documents responses to nursing interventions; develops and implements plan of care including discharge planning using clinical/critical thinking and evidence-based practice; guides and directs care for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; delivers teaching to patients and families to meet educational needs; collaborates with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes. Requires Iowa RN licensure (BSN preferred) with acute care experience preferred; 12-hour day shift; full-time; sign-on bonus starting at $10,000; MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in Iowa or eligible multistate licensure required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
