Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Post Surgical, PRN rotating shifts in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care in a timely and accurate manner across units (including telemetry, oncology, adult/pediatric emergency and surgical services). Requires TN nursing licensure with BLS within 90 days of hire and multiple unit-specific certifications within designated timeframes (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NVCI, ENPC/TNCC, ONS chemo/immunotherapy, etc.). The role supports a comprehensive hospital environment with telemetered monitoring, specialized equipment, and float pool opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- For 3rd floor telemetry unit: Basic arrhythmia within 6 months; ACLS within 6 months; For float pool: Basic arrhythmia within 6 months; ACLS within 6 months; NVCI certification within 6 months; For critical care: Basic arrhythmia within 6 months; ACLS within 6 months; NVCI certification within 6 months; AACN, CCRN or CCP certification within two years of hire; For Oncology: ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire; For Adult Emergency Room: TNCC Preferred; PALS within 6 months; NVCI within 6 months; For Pediatric Medical Surgical: PALS within 6 months; NVCI within 6 months; For Pediatric Emergency Room: PALS within 6 months; ACLS within 6 months; ENPC or TNCC within 6 months,
