Registered Nurse - Post Surgical - PRN Rotating Shifts

Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for a Registered Nurse in post-surgical/PRN rotating shifts. Requires Tennessee RN licensure, nursing degree/diploma, BLS within 90 days, and unit-specific certifications (ACLS, NVCI, TNCC/PALS as applicable). Units include 3rd floor telemetry, float pool, critical care, oncology, Adult ED, Pediatric Medical/Surgical, and Pediatric ED. Responsibilities encompass comprehensive assessment, individualized care planning, patient teaching and discharge planning, safe medication administration and documentation, staff supervision as applicable, and maintaining a professional and healing environment. Equipment and environment include telemetry systems, Omnicell, Pneumatic Tube System, and Language Line access. Candidates should be capable of multi-unit pediatric and adult patient care delivery, and comfortable working in high-pressure healthcare settings with flexible shifts.
