Job Summary
Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for a post-surgical RN role. Requires Tennessee licensure and a nursing diploma or degree. The role involves unit coverage across telemetry, critical care, oncology, ER, pediatric, and adult medical-surgical settings with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NVCI, PALS, TNCC/ENPC as required per unit. May require float pool assignments and completion of certifications within defined timeframes. Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure, provide patient care across age ranges, and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months for 3rd floor telemetry/float pool/critical care/ER/Pediatric units
- NVCI certification within 6 months for certain units
- ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year for Oncology unit
- PALS within 6 months for ER/Peds
- TNCC/TNCC/ENPC within specified timeframes for ER/Peds units
- Pediatric and Adult Emergency/Peds experience as applicable
- TN license validation
