Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of post-surgical patients using evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care delivery through delegation, coordinate resources, and manage time to ensure timely interventions while documenting accurately and adhering to legal standards. Collaborate with physicians, family, and support staff to develop individualized care plans, including education and referrals for discharge. Requires a current Registered Nurse license with BLS certification; BSN required for new hires. Located at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with 36 weekly hours at $37.45–$57.29 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
