Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while directing delegation and coordinating resources. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and provide accurate, timely documentation. Maintain legal and ethical standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and manage time, supplies, and equipment efficiently. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN within four years; involves lifting patients, ambulating, and navigating busy hospital environments. Located at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
