Registered Nurse - Post-Surgical - FT Days/Nights

Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner. Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients upon admission, utilizing observation, communication, and examination skills. Plan individual patient care by identifying problems, nursing diagnoses, and interventions consistent with standards of practice. Plan for patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge needs as appropriate. Function independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment while adhering to policies and competency assessments. Handle, transport, store, prepare, and administer medications safely in accordance with hospital procedures. Document accurately and timely. Reassess patient conditions, evaluate responses, and modify care plans accordingly. Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff based on patient acuity and complexity. Maintain a healing therapeutic environment for patients and families. Demonstrate responsibility for communications and special assignments. Maintain work areas and personal appearance reflecting professionalism, cleanliness, and safety.
