REGISTERED NURSE, Post Partum Part-Time Nights

Job Summary
Conduct safe, competent nursing care for postpartum patients in accordance with facility policies and standards. Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs; construct and implement individualized plans of care integrating direct and indirect activities related to diagnoses and co-morbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary care by developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet patient and family needs. Complete hourly rounds to strengthen communication, improve safety, and proactively evaluate the environment for patient friendliness and safety. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- NRP within 6 mo. of hire
- STABLE (or obtained within six months of employment)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Desired Qualifications
- one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting
