Job Summary
Assess patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs; construct and implement a comprehensive plan of care integrating direct and indirect activities for assigned diagnoses and co-morbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary care goals, treatment plans, and discharge strategies tailored to individual requirements. Conduct hourly rounds to strengthen communication, improve safety, and proactively evaluate the environment for patient needs and safety. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating Service Excellence standards. Requires current Nevada RN license, BLS, and NRP within six months; one year acute care experience preferred. Part-time nights schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- NRP within 6 mo. of hire
- STABLE (or obtained within six months of employment)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting
