Job Summary
Assess patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs. Construct and implement care plans integrating direct and indirect activities for diagnosed conditions and comorbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary goals, treatment plans, and discharge strategies. Conduct hourly rounds to evaluate pain, re-positioning, toileting, and environmental safety. Provide professional leadership supporting the healthcare team while adhering to facility policies and patient-centered care standards. Requires current Nevada RN license, BLS, and NRP within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- NRP within 6 mo. of hire
- STABLE (or obtained within six months of employment)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting
