Job Summary
Conduct safe, competent nursing care for postpartum patients in accordance with facility policies and standards. Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs; construct and implement individualized plans of care integrating direct and indirect activities. Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment goals and discharge planning while completing hourly rounds to evaluate patient needs and safety. Provide professional leadership to the healthcare team, demonstrating service excellence and patient-centered care principles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- NRP within 6 mo. of hire
- STABLE (or obtained within six months of employment)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting
