Job Summary
Provide obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care in a perinatal/OB-GYN unit. Perform comprehensive assessments, plan and implement patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families. Utilize equipment such as fetal and neonatal monitors, phototherapy lights, infant ventilators, and transport systems. Maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with the healthcare team, and function under pressure. This PRN night-shift role requires Tennessee RN license, BLS, NRP within six months, and ACLS within six months, with on-call readiness and ability to work up to twelve-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- NRP within six months of hire
- ACLS certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire
- Able to function in stressful situations
- Able to return to work within 1 hour when on call
- Perinatal Healthcare Delivery experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand for up to twelve hours per day
