Job Summary
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, document clinical information, and monitor patient status for individuals receiving specialized foot and ankle services. Provide skilled nursing care including medication administration, treatments, injections, and validated foot and nail care procedures. Assist the podiatrist with patient evaluations, office-based procedures, treatment planning, and post-operative care management while coordinating referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up services. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, diabetic foot care, surgical recovery, and self-management strategies. Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Requires BSN, DORA, BLS, and accredited foot care certification; pay range $32.35-$55.91/hour.
Required Qualifications
