Job Summary
Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care by employing critical thinking skills to assess conditions, recognize deviations, and evaluate progress. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Requires current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications within ninety days of start date. Schedule involves approximately six call shifts on a six-week rotation with two holidays annually. Per diem pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 hourly, subject to expertise and experience adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
