Registered Nurse - Peri-Operative PRN

Registered Nurse - Peri-Operative PRN at an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Provides peri-operative patient care, documentation, and coordination for ambulatory procedures. Responsible for admissions/pre-op preparation, plans and implements nursing care per physician orders, maintains accurate medical records and care plans, administers medications and IV solutions, monitors patient status, participates in infection control and quality-improvement activities, assists with discharge planning, and collaborates with physicians, anesthesiologists, ASC Manager, and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care. Includes orientation support for new employees, ongoing education, adherence to departmental standards, and flexible scheduling to meet peri-operative patient needs. Maintains safety and compliance with ASC policies and procedures and demonstrates leadership in safe patient-care delivery.
