Job Summary
The position requires a Registered Nurse to deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for chemical dependency adults while collaborating with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and overseeing the provision of care by direct care staff. Candidates must possess a current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and obtain CPI certification within 90 days. Preferred qualifications include psychiatric experience and knowledge of abnormal psychology.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- One-year psychiatric experience
- Basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the psychiatric population
- Familiarity with management of a therapeutic level system and understanding of system of rewards and consequences
