Job Summary
Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain professional knowledge in current nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Work nights from 7pm to 7:30am, every other weekend, with a requirement of at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including 24 weekend hours. Successful completion of an Associate's or BSN degree, current Illinois licensure, and AHA CPR certification are required. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks
- 24 of those hours must be on weekend time
- Hours: 7pm - 7:30am
- Every other weekend
