Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times. Oversee and guide employees under supervision within the Cardiac Catheterization department. Ensure all patient interactions align with Patient Centered Care concepts. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required by department standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- BSN
- One-year acute care experience
- Successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients)
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients)
- Current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty, or department
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
