Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees under supervision. Per Diem RN for Cardiac Cath at Summerlin Hospital within the Valley Health System, a 496-bed facility in Las Vegas area, with credentialed cardiovascular services including PCI and stroke center capabilities; operate under the UHS framework and deliver patient-centered care while adhering to performance and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- BSN preferred
- One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department
- Interim Nevada RN license may be required by the Nevada State Board of Nursing
- Pre-employment assessments may be required
