Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire or equivalent
- BSN preferred
- One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or current NRP/PALS as required by department
- Interim RN license from Nevada State Board of Nursing if applicable
- Pre-employment assessment as required by the facility
