Registered Nurse (per diem)

Prepare patients for surgery and provide post-operative care in a sterile surgical center environment. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while administering medications and monitoring status. Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and outcomes, and maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate with anesthesia and the health care team to ensure clearances and optimal patient outcomes. Assist providers with examinations and procedures, and manage monthly outdates and medication recalls. Maintain required clinical skills, participate in education programs, and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
