Job Summary
Conduct triage services involving evaluation and assessment of medical and psychiatric status for withdrawal management. Provide direct patient care to up to 35 clients on a medically managed detox unit. Administer medications, monitor for reactions, and record vital signs while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to modify treatment plans. Facilitate crisis intervention, coordinate referrals to specialized resources, and supervise less-skilled nursing personnel. Maintain accurate reports and records of patient conditions. Per diem employees must accept at least one shift within a 30-day period to maintain active status.
Required Qualifications
- A current/active State of Connecticut RN license
- Basic Life Support and CPR certification
- Must accept at least one available shift within a 30-day period to maintain active employment status
- Must attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings
