REGISTERED NURSE - PER DIEM (2 OUT OF 3)

Conduct triage services involving evaluation and assessment of medical and psychiatric status to determine withdrawal management needs. Provide direct patient care to up to 35 clients on a medically managed detox unit while administering medications, monitoring for reactions, and recording vital signs. Order, transcribe, and reconcile medications per physician orders; facilitate crisis intervention and modify treatment plans based on patient responses. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and refer patients to specialized health resources. Maintain accurate reports, records, and detailed documentation of patient conditions. Per diem employees must accept at least one available shift within a 30-day period to maintain active employment status. Mandatory attendance at all department meetings and trainings is required and treated as paid work time.
