Job Summary
Provide 16-bed Pediatric PICU coverage during nights (7pm-7:30am), including weekend and holiday rotations. Deliver family-centered care to pediatric patients while maintaining BLS and PALS certifications. Maintain Illinois RN licensure and meet educational requirements, including a Bachelor's degree within five years if starting with an Associate Degree. Prioritize candidates with at least two years of Pediatric PICU experience. Required Qualifications
- Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position
- Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
- Full Time - 36 hours
- Nights 7pm-7:30am Includes weekend and holiday rotations
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Peds Picu experience highly preferred
