Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Pediatric PICU unit during night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, including weekend and holiday rotations. Maintain family-centered care standards while managing a diverse patient population across eight acute care hospitals. Ensure all patients receive expert care close to home as part of Endeavor Health's fully integrated healthcare delivery system serving over 4.2 million residents.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position
- Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
- Nights 7pm-7:30am Includes weekend and holiday rotations
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Peds Picu experience highly preferred
