Job Summary
Manage pediatric patients in the Hematology/Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center at Riley Children's Hospital, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and central line maintenance while managing hypersensitivity reactions. Provide ambulatory care with critical thinking in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with on-site oncology pharmacists and participating in multidisciplinary decision-making to advance patient care plans. Engage in teaching, mentoring, and nurse-led governance to foster operational efficiency and clinical expertise. Full-time Monday through Friday; requires one year of RN experience, infusion certification preferred, and a BSN or ASN.
Required Qualifications
- Full-Time
- Monday- Friday
- No weekends or holidays
- minimum of one year of RN experience
- current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
- Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred- 3-5 years of infusion experience
- Preferred- chemo certification
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
- Other Advanced Life Support certifications
