Registered Nurse-Pediatrics-Night Shift

Provide professional nursing care for SIH patients in the Pediatrics department during the night shift. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical, mental, and spiritual needs; establishing a compassionate environment; planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team; health teaching and counseling to promote health; using clinical judgment and critical thinking to recognize changes in patient condition; timely documentation in the medical record; contributing to policy/procedure development for patient safety and quality of care; supervision/delegation of licensed practical nurse and/or unlicensed personnel; advocating for patients through collaboration with health professionals; and ensuring ongoing education, competencies, and licensure. Compensation ranges from $31.25 to $49.06 per hour and benefits information is available via the SIH careers portal.
