Job Summary
Monitor ventilator and pulse oximeter throughout the night, perform tracheostomy suctioning and cleaning, and administer GJ tube feedings and respiratory treatments. Provide bedside hygiene including showering, manage secretions with cough assist machines, and ensure comfort and safety for a ventilator-dependent patient with complex physical needs. This role requires experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care, familiarity with GJ tube feedings, and competence in pediatric respiratory care. Candidates must possess a gentle, patient approach to assist with repositioning and incontinence care for a non-verbal individual. Current CPR certification is required, with on-site training available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Competence in pediatric respiratory care (nebulizers, cough assist, etc.)
- Current CPR certification
