Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Pediatrics and PICU) provides clinical assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care within interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, collaboratively developing individualized plans of care, directing care delivery and ensuring documentation, while maintaining professional standards, regulatory compliance and effective communication with patients, families, and health-team members. Requires active RN license in state of practice (BSN within specified timeframe or BSN preferred), BLS certification, and ability to coordinate and prioritize care in a high-acuity pediatric setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of hire for RNs with less than 12 months of experience
