Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Pediatrics and PICU responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; leads interdisciplinary care teams, coordinates with families, and ensures care delivered aligns with plan and licensure; demonstrates nursing process use, critical thinking, education for patients/families, timely documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards while maintaining professional accountability. Key duties include patient assessment, care planning, delegation and coordination of care, evaluation of outcomes, and ongoing professionalism within the nursing scope. Requires active RN license in state of practice, BLS certification, and BSN-completion within four years per role update; BSN preferred per requirements. Location: Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT; 36 scheduled weekly hours; salary range $38.37-$56.17 hourly (annualized to $79,810-$116,834) based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice (RN license)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- BSN within four (4) years of hire date (as applicable by job description update)
- Compact licenses accepted and must be transferred to state of practice within 60 days (if applicable)
