Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatrics and PICU responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process; collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, coordinate patient education and referrals, and ensure timely, compliant documentation and delivery of care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, planning and prioritizing patient care, coordinating and delegating care to the care team, evaluating patient responses and adjusting plans as needed, and upholding professional, ethical, and regulatory standards while promoting education and development of others. Requires current RN license in state of practice, BSN within four years for those with <12 months experience, and BLS certification. Location: Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT; typical schedule around 36 hours per week; salary ranges approximately $79,810–$116,834 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor‘s degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
