Job Summary
Ambulatory pediatric RN role in IU Health's clinic with a hybrid schedule (Mon-Fri 8:00am–5:00pm, occasional Sat 8:00am–12:00pm). The position supports both part-time and full-time options and offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus; referral-eligible. Responsibilities include pediatric patient and family care in a team-based ambulatory setting, collaboration with clinicians, and delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) with an active RN license in Indiana or NLC, BLS (and other advanced life support as needed), and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule. BSN preferred; candidates with less than a nationally accredited program may be considered with >2 years of relevant clinical experience. Required Qualifications
- Associates of Nursing (ASN) required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (BSN)
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply with more than two years of relevant clinical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
- Experience: minimum one year RN experience; upcoming or recent graduates may be considered
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
- Knowledge of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as an RN
