Registered Nurse, Pediatric Pulmonology Clinic

The Registered Nurse works in a pediatric pulmonology clinic and inpatient hospital setting, coordinating patient care alongside a single pediatric pulmonologist. Responsibilities include bedside and operating room procedures (including bronchoscopies), daily rounds, real-time documentation, coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments/tests/referrals, and facilitating communication among hospital teams, patients, and families. May precept clinical staff and lead/direct others within scope of practice. Requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and ability to function in fast-paced environments while ensuring continuity of care between hospital and outpatient settings. A one-time educational session in pediatric bronchology is required to support procedural proficiency.
