Job Summary
Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions to the multidisciplinary team. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare team members. Requires one year of PICU experience, Florida RN licensure, and BLS certification. Night shift full-time schedule at The Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida
- Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- One (1) year minimum of PICU experience
