Job Summary
Direct Patient Care and Monitoring in the Pediatric ICU: perform continuous clinical assessment and monitoring of critically ill pediatric patients; provide advanced interventions including life support and pharmacological accuracy with vascular integrity; act as a clinical liaison emphasizing family-centered care; collaborate with rapid-response teams and interdisciplinary partners while upholding unit safety standards. Licensure requirements include Indiana RN license and BLS within 30 days; PALS/ACLS preferred. Education required: ADN by hire date, BSN preferred; Diploma with required licensure also acceptable. This role is based in Indianapolis in the Ascension Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and focuses on high-level pediatric critical care nursing, safety, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider within 30 days of hire
- Registered Nurse credentialed in Indiana
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required by hire date; Bachelor's preferred; Diploma acceptable with professional licensure at hire
