Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER - PRN Nights

Pediatric ER RN PRN Nights at Williamson Health. The role focuses on immediate, specialized care for pediatric patients in a dedicated emergency department, conducting rapid assessments, prioritizing care by severity, and implementing live-saving interventions. Collaborates with pediatric emergency physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists to provide family-centered care, explain treatment plans to families, and support emotional needs. Maintains unit competencies, coordinates transition of care with the pediatric acute care team, and excels under pressure in a high-stakes environment. Requires at least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience preferred and completion of required courses within 6 months of hire (PALS, ACLS, ENPC or TNCC, NVCI).
