Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER - Full Time Nights

Job Summary
Provides immediate and specialized care to children in a pediatric emergency department; quickly assesses pediatric patients, prioritizes care based on severity, and implements life-saving interventions. Collaborates with board-certified pediatric emergency room physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and child life specialist to provide excellent care; explains treatment plans and procedures to patients and families, offering emotional support; maintains unit/departmental competencies; coordinates transition of care for admitted patients with the pediatric acute care team. Requires Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI). At least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience preferred.
