Job Summary
RN in the Pediatric Emergency Department providing patient- and family-centered nursing care. Deliver nursing care in ED by assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients and families; coordinate and delegate appropriate care to inter-professional teammates; update and manage patient records; follow established guidelines and policies; assist leadership with quality improvement projects. Magnet-recognized organization with opportunities for training, development, and career growth; requirements include MA RN license, BLS, and ACLS as applicable to unit, with a nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN) and potential BSN completion within 4 years. Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN license
- 1+ years RN experience preferred
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification required in certain units
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)
- Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (electronic health records)
