Job Summary
Deliver rapid, evidence-based Emergency Department nursing care for pediatric patients in a high-acuity environment at Dell Children's Medical Center. Lead multidisciplinary coordination across trauma, pediatric, and specialty teams; develop and implement tailored emergency care plans; monitor and document patient status changes; assess discharge or transfer needs to facilitate safe transitions. Nights, full-time role requiring RN licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing and professional life-support certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) with pediatric ED experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
