Job Summary
Champion patient wellness by implementing personalized care plans and acting as the vital link between the bedside and the broader medical team. Serve as the primary coordinator across all medical disciplines, harmonizing efforts between specialists, therapists, and physicians to deliver seamless, holistic care. Interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders with high clinical expertise while meticulously monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition. Lead the discharge planning process to ensure patients and families are prepared for their journey home. This weekend option role at Via Christi, St. Francis offers 36 hours/week with rotating holidays and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire
