Job Summary
Registered Nurse with PDHHD responsibilities including direct patient care and training for home dialysis (peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis), supervising Patient Care Technicians, rotating coverage for patient management, participating in staff training and new-hire orientation, evaluating candidates for the Home Dialysis Program, training patients and families on home dialysis equipment, educating patients and families about ESRD and treatment options, assessing home environments for dialysis suitability, delivering patient education on home dialysis therapies, documenting and communicating patient issues to management and physicians, coordinating patient transfers to hemodialysis clinics as needed, and maintaining dialysis-related equipment operation skills; requires RN licensure, BSN, CPR, and ability to travel between assigned facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, RN or BSN
- Current state licensure as a RN
- Current CPR card
