Job Summary
Manage the 8-bed emergency department, handling over 9,000 annual visits ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. Provide expert care while utilizing paid, structured cross-training opportunities at the Goleta Valley ED or Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Level 1 Trauma Center to develop advanced skills. Maintain current California RN licensure, AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and TNCC or ATCN certification, with NRP certification required within three months of start. Requires one year of recent emergency department experience.
Required Qualifications
- California RN License
- AHA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC or ATCN certification
- NRP within 3 months of start date
- One year of recent experience in an Emergency Department
